There are three types of check that can be run:

Vehicle ID Check – This will provide only the information that the DVLA holds for the vehicle. It will not check anything beyond this.

HPI Check – On top of the DVLA information, you will also receive information about the various registers we check against to ensure that there are no outstanding interests.

Manufacturer Approved Check – These are branded HPI Checks affiliated to approved used car schemes. Some will contain preset items that must be included in a HPI Check such as NMR Checks or a Valuation.
